1. Who we are
Hone ("we", "our", "us") is an independent learning platform operated by Shivan Bhimi, based in Singapore. We can be reached at hello@honeskills.com.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: Your name and email address when you sign up.
- Payment data: Lemon Squeezy processes payments. We store only a Lemon Squeezy customer ID and payment confirmation — never raw card details.
- Progress data: Which lessons you've completed, task checkboxes, quiz scores. Used to power your dashboard.
- AI chat history: Your conversations with the AI assistant are stored so you can review them. We do not use them to train models.
- Usage data: Basic analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. No cross-site tracking.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and personalise the learning experience
- To process your payment and grant access
- To send transactional emails (receipt, occasional product updates)
- To improve the platform
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers below.
4. Third-party services
- Supabase — database and authentication (EU region)
- Lemon Squeezy — payment processing
- Anthropic — AI assistant (messages are sent to Anthropic's API)
- Resend — transactional email
- Vercel — hosting
5. Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us. Lemon Squeezy maintains payment records independently per their legal obligations.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email hello@honeskills.com and we'll respond within 7 days.
7. Cookies
We use only functional cookies required for authentication (Supabase session). No advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Changes
We'll update the "last updated" date and notify active users by email for material changes.
